here’s the story…

 

 

 

The English Rose has been owned and operated since 2006 by Jethro Rivera Wickenden and his lovely wife Ruth Wickenden. They met while living in Bristol, England. Since that time they have rarely been apart, moving together down to the Caribbean in 2001. Ground broke up on the hill in La Joya back in 2002 and the English Rose Guest House and Restaurant were born.

 

 

 

Since then, the Wickendens have worked extremely hard to provide the freshest ingredients around and continue to translate them into a breakfast experience that reflects their love of Puerto Rico, England, and food!
